Left 4 Awesome
I know I'm horribly late on this, but I finally started playing Left 4 Dead. And its so amazingly rad, that only Lucas from The Wizard can tell you how awesome it is.
Usually I'm absolutely abysmal at first person shooters, but it turns out that's because I couldn't care less what happened during WW2 . This game has to be one of Valve's best work.
The architecture and even the small details are stunning. Each level is chilling in it's own way, and the zombie placement is genius. The voice actors did an excellent job of mixing fear with intensity. The range of characters are great too, but I'm pretty sure Valve wanted Zoey to be a guy, but didn't want people calling the politically incorrect card.
The music is pretty great too, and the range of enemies just tie the game together.
I only have 3 complaints:
1. The game is too short. This seems to be a recurring theme in Valve's games, like for example Portal.
2. One odd thing that struck me was that every level is set as a movie. I didn't see the purpose, other than the cinematic ending sequence.
3.The online is pretty spotty with a lot of lag, but you can expect that with any online game.
Overall I give it a 9/10, and if you haven't checked out this amazing game, then you should.

Hello, Apple?
You know what I found weird about the iPod Touch and iPhone? No, not that it took 3 generations of iphone to have voice dialing or that some of the stability issues are down there with Vista, it's the lack of good games in the app store.
There are some, i know, like sonic and Street Fighter, but some games would work SO well on the screen. Can you imagine playing House of the Dead on a iPod? Killing Zombies with a flick of the finger? that sounds amazing, right?
Another thing is the compatibility issues. I get that i cant use microphone related apps on my iPod touch, but awesome games like Ikaruga can only play on 3gs. What??
Also, why does At and t have the iPhone under it's thumb? What if i want to talk to my friend on my iPhone without sounding like i have a proboscis in my mouth?
Apple kind of dropped the ball on that one there. I can imagine them thinking, "What service provider should we use? Oh i know! The most hated one in America"
Way to go Apple, you really virtual boy'd that one up good. (yes i'm using virtual boy as a derogatory verb. I win)

Watch out, Weight Watchers!
Mcdonald's has had its fair share of......"delectable creations" in the past, but none as monumental as the heart attack on a bun, The Freindly's Grilled Cheese Burger Melt.
Here's the low down: Imagine a McDonald's Big Mac, but with greasy grilled cheese sandwiches as the buns! i just gained 3 pounds painting that mental picture.

1500 calories alone almost doubles the KFC Chicken sandwich. I mean the LITERAL chicken sandwich, where the buns are made of chicken.
Now, i love meat as much as the next guy, but when you kill 7 cows and 14 chicken for a sandwich that can put that subway guy back in those huge jeans I say enough.
